Position Overview

The selected candidate will be responsible for adjudicating customs-related cases and providing legal expertise in customs laws. This position requires a deep understanding of legal frameworks and the ability to interpret and apply these laws effectively.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be an advocate of a High Court with a minimum of fifteen years of experience.
• Expertise in Customs Laws is essential.
• Experience in pleading at least fifty Customs cases at various forums.
• Additional qualifications may be prescribed by rules.

Age Requirement

Applicants must be aware that members, including the Chairman, shall cease to hold office upon reaching the age of sixty-two years.
