Position Overview
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Network Assistant to join our team in Karachi. This role involves providing on-site and remote IT support for our retail outlets and Head Office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations and maintaining network performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and network performance.
- Troubleshoot POS systems, barcode scanners, printers, and inventory systems.
- Assist with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment.
- Coordinate with ISPs and IT vendors for technical issues and maintenance.
- Respond promptly to technical issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain IT support logs, documentation, and asset records.
- Assist with data backups and basic cybersecurity practices.
- Support new system implementations, IT projects, and new outlet rollouts.
- Conduct regular IT and network checks at assigned locations.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors when required.
Eligibility
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science
- Diploma in IT
- Networking Degree
Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in IT support or networking.
