The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) is looking to appoint a Deputy Director Procurement and Administration at its Head Office in Clifton, Karachi. This senior role is pivotal in ensuring efficient procurement and administrative functions aligned with ICAP’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement centralized procurement strategies for efficiency and cost-saving
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Lead procurement negotiations and contract management
- Ensure governance and regulatory compliance in procurement activities
- Drive cost optimization and identify local sourcing opportunities
- Prepare procurement performance reports and ensure ethical practices
- Manage real estate and property portfolio including leasing, acquisition, and disposal
- Supervise administrative functions to ensure smooth departmental operations
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- Additional Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain Management from an HEC-recognized university/institute
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in procurement, administration, or supply chain
- Proven experience in project procurement and property management
- Proficiency in SAP (preferably SAP MM & FIN) and MS Office
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of financial integration and risk management
