Job Description
The Bank of Punjab, one of the fastest growing banks in Pakistan with over 35 years of profound existence, invites applications from experienced, dedicated, and performance-driven professionals for the position of Unit Head-TROPs FX & ECM in our Payment Services Division (Operations Group).
Position Overview
This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate vetting and settlement of all Treasury FX interbank inter branch/customer deals. The successful candidate will coordinate with various stakeholders including Remittances, Trade, Finance, and Branch Banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate vetting and settlement of all Treasury FX interbank inter branch/customer deals.
- Coordinate with intersegment and intra-segment stakeholders.
- Manage the transfer and receipt of funds to maintain cash reserves with SBP.
- Prepare Net Open Position/Exchange Position, Foreign Exchange Exposure, and various management reports.
- Minimize regulatory/management review objections pointed out by auditors.
- Prepare and update Unit/Department SOPs/Policies/Manuals/Instruction Circulars.
- Possess working knowledge of capital market instruments and settlement mechanisms.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized local/foreign university.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience, with preference given to candidates having relevant banking experience.
- Age: Not more than 55 years as on date of application.
