Shariah Advisory Job in Karachi at Meezan Bank

Meezan Bank is actively seeking a qualified Relationship Manager for its Shariah Advisory team located at the Head Office in Karachi. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the bank’s operations align with Shariah principles while providing exceptional service to clients.

Job Overview

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for conducting thorough reviews of clients’ business structures, operations, and compliance with Shariah laws. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in investment banking and shariah compliance, enabling them to assist in the development of new financial products and Sukuk structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial reviews of clients’ business structures, operations, processes, policies, procedures, systems, and controls from a Shariah perspective.
• Assist the line manager in structuring and developing new products and Sukuk structures.
• Review documents, trust deeds, and clients’ marketing materials to ensure compliance with Shariah guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably a Master’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• ACCA qualification from an HEC-recognized institute/university is preferred.
• Certifications such as ACSS or CSAA will be an added advantage.
• Qualification in Islamic Finance is a plus.

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant banking experience.
